In autumn 2003, Fischer presented for the first time in its history its own collection of bindings. A clear form shall emphasize the safety and reliability of the product. The FX 10 is the central product of the collection of bindings for advanced skiers and for racing. The binding has a unique mechanism which opens in case of fall in all directions. The formal solution out of the year 2003 was the crucial factor for any further development in their esthetical language of shape. As a tribute to the entrepreneurial decision of the Fischer-manager three years later Buchegger, Denoth, Feichtner named a lounge chair identical to this binding.
